Gorilla Trekking Permit

There are only 96 gorilla trekking permits issued per day as per current conservation guiidlines. Early booking is advised especially for gorilla trekking in the mounths of july through to December which is often gorilla trekking's highest season.

A gorilla trekking permit or park entrance costs USD $1500/person. You can get up to 50% discount if you visit any other park in Rwanda and conduct three activities prior to gorilla trekking. Alternatively it could be two activitis in another park and two activitis at the Volcanoes National Park. This drops the cost of your gorilla trekking permit from $1,500 to $1,050. The permit costs covers for your park entry fees and guiding fees. The trek starts at Musanze town right at the foothills of the Volcanoes National Park. This Adventure trek is an hours drive from Kigali Rwanda’s capital city and you get to spend a full hour with the mt. gorillas after tracking them
